Chiller Instinct's Robin Keith Thompson had the pleasure of getting together with the General Manager and Head Coach of the Ontario Hockey League's Sarnia Sting, Jacques Beaulieu.
With candour and the utmost in professionalism, the 42-year-old Memorial Cup Champion Assistant GM with the 2005 London Knights enlightened listeners to his career path, how the team is being built, where it is headed under his direction, and how the dynamics of living apart from his oldest son Nathan are.
Nathan Beaulieu was selected 17th overall by the Montreal Canadiens this past spring in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft and was a key member of the 2011 Memorial Cup Champion Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL.

While he attended the Red and White Game for Team Canada's World Junior Development Camp, we discussed recently drafted players such as Reid Boucher (New Jersey Devils), Ludvig Rensfeldt (Chicago Blackhawks), and Connor Murphy (Phoenix Coyotes) that have been brought aboard. Beaulieu, a former Sault Ste. Marie Greyhound (OHL) himself, shed light on some of the other additions to the team, such as 15-year-old right-handed defenseman Anthony DeAngelo (pictured right), and 16-year-old Sudbury product Ryan Kujawinski.
The Sarnia GM also had fantastic news regarding 2012 NHL Entry Draft-eligible stars Nail Yakupov and Alex Galchenyuk for the listeners and for his fan-base.
